Navigating the Tight Corners of Old Allentown
Back in 2012, we watched a national hauler refuse a job in the Old Allentown Historic District. The alley behind the row homes was so narrow, you could touch both brick walls from our truck's mirrors. A major renovation was stalled, with piles of old lathe and plaster just sitting there, creating a safety hazard and holding up the entire project. The property manager was at a standstill, and the clock was ticking on their permits.
We brought in our smallest, most maneuverable 10-yard truck. I remember spotting for my driver, with maybe an inch of clearance on each side, as we carefully backed down that alley. We got the dumpster placed right at the back door, exactly where the crew needed it. Within a day, they were loading it up, and we hauled it out on schedule, getting their project moving again without a single scratch on those historic buildings.
You guys got in where the big guys wouldn't even try, and saved our renovation timeline.
